What can you say about Dallas BBQ? A staple of NYC. It’s just one of those places you’ve got to hit up. Why? $9.99 dinner for two! This included a whole chicken (to split), soup, cornbread, and fries. Immediately after hearing of the deal I knew this was a must experience place.
I met Michelle there with her friends from camp after church and was very impressed with the look of the place because at prices that cheap I was expecting a pit. The interior was unbelievably nice, maybe this unique to Chelsea, but it was a surprise. TV screens that had scenic views being played throughout our visit amused me.
Our food was good. The chicken was a little dry, but that’s what I expected and I will give the place the benefit of the doubt that it was a rarity. Everything else was absolutely spot on. Our server was also very on top of it. Now, let me warn you that where they try to get you is with the $4 pop. I didn’t ask before I got it and honestly didn’t see it coming. Still, gotta love Dallas BBQ.
