34th and 3rd
On Friday’s, Loreal gets out at 1:30 pm so a bunch of the interns went out to lunch. We weren’t sure where to go so I looked online and found this $7 lunch special. There were 12 different choices for the special so we thought it would be worth going to. Six of us went and when we got there we sat outside, it was another perfect New York day. I ordered my typical entree for a place I’ve never been, a bacon burger with fries. It was the bomb. 10 oz, cheddar cheese, thick bacon, all the toppings, and a bun that didn’t fall apart. The fries had a different and good seasoning, a bit like Red Robin. It may have been the best meal yet. Everybody else thought the place was great as well and suggested we go back.
Luckily, Michelle works about 3 blocks from the restaurant so when she got out early she stopped by. It was nice for her to meet the other interns. She naturally got to talk about the engagement. I will probably make an effort to go back for the special another time.
